The focus of the class is on powerful plant extracts called essential oils. Safe for everyone from newborns to seniors, essential oils are Nature's original medicines. They are currently enjoying a resurgence in popularity thanks to solid scientific research backing up how and why they work. You will learn what essential oils can do and how to use them, along with a variety of helpful remedies and recipes for common ailments, for every member of your family.
Throughout the evening, we will compare a variety of pharmaceutical and OTC remedies with their essential oil counterparts in terms of side effects, effectiveness, and cost. In the process, you'll learn how to convert your medicine cabinet into a veritable treasure chest of completely natural, non-toxic and highly effective products. You will also learn natural ways to deal with over 20 different conditions, including:
Allergies, Asthma, Arthritis, Back Pain, Cold and Flu, Acid Reflux, Headache, Muscle Pain, Stomach Ache, Warts, Ear Aches, Athlete's Foot, Gum Disease, PMS and more!

Free Dental Screenings for Children in February

In celebration of National Children's Dental Health Month, free dental screenings are offered for Bay Area children (from birth to age 14*) throughout February! Screening visit includes: short visual exam to identify any trouble spots in gums, teeth and mouth; consultation with parents to answer questions and find out how to prevent oral diseases; tips on developing good habits for kids; and dental goody bag with toothbrush!
