Brush Your Face With A Toothbrush And “look Younger”

style=”text-align:justify;”>
Would you like to know a really inexpensive way to make your face look years younger? Of course you would! Who wouldn’t?

Well, get yourself a two dollar, soft-bristle toothbrush and you’ll be on your way. Regularly brushing your FACE (yes, your face) with a toothbrush will help keep your skin youthful. Don’t believe me? Tempted to stop reading? I know it sounds nutty, but stay with me. Have you heard of the company Sonicare? They make electric toothbrushes. Guess what? Now they also make a brush for the FACE. It’s the same design, just a bit larger. It costs $ 200. People who have it seem to love it. If you have an extra $ 200, by all means, buy it. But if you only have an extra $ 2, I promise you, a regular, soft-bristle toothbrush, properly used, will give you great results. I’ve been doing it for 15 years now and though I’m well into my 40s, I still get asked for I.D. at the Trader Joe’s when I buy red wine. (If you’re obsessed with anti-aging, red wine is the only alcohol you should be drinking, by the way.)

Here’s what you do:

1. Wet your face and neck with warm water. You may want to open your pores by applying a warm washcloth for a few minutes.

2. Apply the skin cleanser of your choice to your face and neck. If you have dry skin, you may wish to use a moisturizing cleanser. If it’s oily, you can use something that treats oily skin. Use whatever is already working for your skin. Apply it all over the face and neck, unless it’s an acne formula, then use something less drying for the skin around your eyes. (You may want to do the eyes separately.)

3. Apply the cleanser to the toothbrush. This helps the brush glide over the skin more smoothly.

4. Begin gently brushing in small circles. Where you start is up to you, but I like to begin with the sides of the mouth where laugh lines form.

Brush clockwise and counterclockwise all over the cheeks, chin. On the forehead, you can brush in circles and also up and down. Pay attention to the area between your eyebrows, were frown lines appear. Brush in circles, clockwise and counterclockwise. If you have lines higher on the forehead above, from lifting your eyebrows, brush in circles over those lines and also up and down.

5. Do the eyes last. And be very very gentle in this area. If you’ve used a drying cleanser, wash it off the brush before you do the eyes and use something more moisturizing. You can even brush with moisturizer in the eye area. Put the brush on the outer part of the eye closest to your hairline, where you may have crows feet, and brush GENTLY in toward the bridge of the nose. When you begin, use just a few brush strokes. Not more than four to start. As you do it more often, you use more pressure and more strokes, but begin slowly.

6. Even with light pressure, your skin is likely going to look red, depending on your skin tone. Don’t worry. The redness will subside within several minutes. If it has not subsided after an hour, either you’ve brushed too vigorously, or this procedure is not appropriate for your skin. Start out with very little pressure and build up over time if you’re seeing good results. If your face becomes inflamed or irritated your skin may simply be too sensitive for this.

7. Always, always, always, without exception, follow this with some sort of moisturizer. Use one you’ve already been using that you know works well for your skin. If you’re brushing in the daytime, use a moisturizer with sunscreen, preferably one that has an SPF of 30 or higher. If you’re brushing at night, follow with a great night cream.

Nighttime is when the skin repairs itself, so if you do the brushing, following with a night cream designed to replenish and repair, and you sleep, you’re going to get an added benefit. This is because the brushing and exfoliating prepares the skin for products to penetrate more effectively.

Do this regularly, a few time as week and you’ll soon notice that your skin looks clearer, younger, less lined and more vibrant.

Why is this? A few reasons:

1. Brushing brings blood to the surface of the skin. The blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells. So, you are helping to “feed,” your skin when you brush it. As you do this regularly, you nourish your skin on a regular basis. If your nutrition is good, that further enhances the quality of the blood being sent to your skin tissues. So, eat a good diet and the results will be further enhanced.

2. The exfoliating helps to slough off dead skin cells. When we’re young, our skin cells turn over regularly without assistance. As we age, however, that process slows down and old cells cling to the surface longer, resulting in a dulling of the complexion. Regular exfoliating assists the skin in this cell turnover, allowing older skin to look more like its younger self.

3. Exfoliating also draws out impurities from the pores, helping to keep them cleaner and smaller. As we age, our pores begin to look larger. Clearing the pores helps the skin look smoother and tighter.

4. Brushing stimulates the muscles under the surface of the skin, similarly to how they would be stimulated by a face massage. As you’re going over the skin, brushing in circles and up and down in certain areas, the tiny muscles under the skin’s surface are being stimulated. Blood flow to the muscle is occurring. This stimulation helps to keep these muscles conditioned in a way that they would otherwise not be. If the muscles below the surface of the skin remain conditioned, your face holds up better over time and there is less sagging.

When I began skin brushing, I limited it to a few times a week. This is what I recommend for you as you begin. Each person’s skin is different, so you’ll find what works best for you. When you start, be sure to use a SOFT BRISTLE toothbrush. Build up slowly. If your skin responds well to the procedure (you can tell by how it looks and feels) it’s okay to do it daily or every other day. When I began, years ago, I brushed only a few times a week. Now I can brush every day and my skin loves it.

Hope you’ll try this and have wonderful results. Please write to me and let me know how it goes.

Does Putting Toothpaste On Pimples Work?
Many people claim that treating pimples with toothpaste will cure them. Is this fact or fiction? Can putting such an ordinary household substance like toothpaste on pimples really work? Moreover, how could it possibly work?

Acne is an infection of the skin caused when miniscule holes on the skins surface, which are called pores become blocked. Each pore has an opening to a canal called a follicle containing an oil gland and a hair. Normally, these glands, known as sebaceous glands produce sebum, which helps remove dead skin cells and keep the skin lubricated. When these glands produce an excess of sebum, the pores becomes blocked and accumulate bacteria, dirt, and other debris. This blockage is known as a comedome or a plug.

Toothpaste is designed to prevent tooth decay, strengthen the teeth, reduce any build up of dental plaque, clean the teeth, as well as eliminate all bad breath. It is specifically formulated and marketed with that goal in mind.

Fluoride is the major active ingredient in toothpaste. Fluoride protects the tooth enamel from a process known as demineralization caused by acids, which have formed when sugar and bacteria in your mouth mix. Also, if the teeth have already been damaged by this acid, fluoride will accumulate in the damaged areas and begin strengthening the enamel in a process known as remineralization. Fluoride can be present in toothpaste in several forms, depending on the manufacturer. The two most common forms sodium fluoride and sodium monofluorophosphate can cause irritation to the skin and even cause the skin to blister.

Other ingredients of toothpaste include alcohols and biocides designed to kill the bacteria causing dental plaque and gingivitis, menthol to freshen the breath, food extracts as flavourants and tiny micro beads that assist in the scrubbing action and removal of plaque.

The first reaction of toothpaste when applied to your skin is to dry it out. This is all well and good, and will definitely help your acne as its drying up excess oils. However, the fluorides in the toothpaste may cause your skin to itch, feel scaly, appear red, and even to blister which may result in your skin being more unsightly than it was from the acne alone. The other ingredients may also further irritate your skin. The biocides in toothpaste are designed to kill bacteria found within the mouth and may have no effect on the bacteria present of the surface of the skin. The micro beads present in some toothpastes could potentially enter the pores and clog them further.

Therefore, although toothpaste could potentially treat your acne, it is more likely to increase your skin problems and do more damage than it cures.

Gum Disease

INUIT BODIES WERE INFESTED WITH CARCINOMA, LESIONS, MEAT PARASITES, LICE, BONE DISEASE, HAD PIN-WORMS, AND ALL THE INUITS TEETH HAD FALLEN OUT WHILE ON TRADITIONAL PALEOLITHIC DIET.

INUIT ARE NOW CONFIRMED TO HAVE GOTTEN CANCER WHILE ON PRIMAL NATIVE PURELY PALEO DIET. IN PRIMITIVE TIMES AND BEFORE ANY WESTERN CONTACT.

INUIT MUMMIES WERE UNEARTHED:

THE MUMMIES OF ARCTIC INUIT PEOPLE LIVED OVER FIVE CENTURIES AGO.

THIS IS PRIOR TO WESTERN CONTACT, SO THEY ARE EXEMPLARY OF BEING A TRADITIONAL, PRIMAL, PRIMITIVE, MEAT-BASED DIET.

UNAFFECTED BY ANY WESTERN DIET.

OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING AUTOPSY RESULTS:

01 – THE INUIT WERE CONFIRMED TO HAVE CANCER, WHILE EATING A PURELY NATIVE PALEO STYLE DIET.

02 – THE INUIT BODIES WERE RIDDLED WITH CARCINOMA, WHILE EATING WHOLLY NATURAL TRADITIONAL WILD FOODS.

03 – THE INUIT WHILE ON THEIR PALEO PRIMAL DIET WERE FOUND TO HAVE EXTENSIVE BONE JOINT LESIONS.

04 – THE INUIT GAVE BIRTH TO CHILDREN WITH BIRTH DEFECTS WHILE EATING PALEOLITHIC TYPE DIET.

05 – THE INUIT WERE FOUND TO HAVE GIVEN BIRTH TO A CHILD WITH DOWNS SYNDROME (SLOPED FOREHEAD, DEMENTED) WHILE ON PALEO DIET

06 – INUIT BODIES WERE FOUND STRICKEN WITH PERTHES DISEASE, A WASTAGE & DISINTEGRATION OF THE LEG BONE (HIP), AND MAY HAVE GONE LIMP.

07 – A FEMALE INUIT, ON THE INUIT TRADITIONAL PRIMAL SOLUTION DIET, WAS POSSIBLY HIT WITH BREAST CANCER.

08 – THE INUIT CANCER IN THE WOMAN HAD METASTICIZED AND SPREAD THROUGHOUT HER BODY IN MULTIPLE LESIONS WHILE EATING PALEO.

09 – ALL OF THE INUIT PERSON’S TEETH HAD FALLEN OUT, WHILE EATING PALEO, AND APPEARED TO BE INFECTED WITH GUM DISEASE.

10 – WHILE ON THE MEAT BASED PALEO DIET, THEY GOT INFECTED WITH PINWORMS – SMALL PARASITES LIVING IN THEIR ABDOMEN, OFTEN SOURCED FROM INGESTING MEAT.

11 – ALL OF THE PALEO INUIT MEAT-EATERS WERE INFESTED WITH HEAD LICE – NITS. AS WELL AS EGG-LARVAE.

THUS, THE INUIT ARE NOW CONFIRMED TO HAVE CANCER. – AND BIRTH DEFECTS, AND BONE WASTAGE, AND PARASITES, AND LICE, AND WORSE.

AND THE INUIT GREW TUMOURS AND CANCER ALL DURING THE TIME THEY WERE EATING A PRIMAL NATIVE PALEOLITHIC DIET.

(Note: No citations of anecdotes such as some early explorer in the 1900′s visiting the Inuit failing to ‘notice’ any cancer can be used. This is because these so-called explorers were conducting their activities prior to the advent of X-rays and other modern cancer detection equipment, therefore they only saw none because they only used their eyes, they didn’t have x-ray equipment. Therefore no such accounts from Weston A. Price, or Vilhalmur Stefannson, etc can ever be used as proof of such a negative.

This example is noteworthy because these were mummies, which existed even prior to Weston A. Price, or Stefannson, and in fact even pre-dated human western european contact, therefore there is no contamination of the diet by western influences at all, it did not exist. Plus, the fact that these mummies were unearthed preserved from the frozen arctic now, in the time of modern medicine, allowed the true diagnostics of x-rays and modern cancer detection equipment to be used to spot the extensive infection with tumours and cancers that were not detected by the naked eye by some early explorer. Lo and behold it turns out the Inuit were infested with cancer afterall. As detailed in the Inuit autopsy records.)

WITNESS THE FOLLOWING:

"THE GREENLAND MUMMIES"

JENS PEDER HART HANSEN, J0RGEN MELDGAARD, and J0RGEN NORDQVIST (editors)

London, British Museum Press, 1991, pp. 192, illus., £14.95 (0-7141-2500-8).

The Greenland mummies, first published simultaneously in Danish and Greenlandic in 1985, is a most handsome and readable book, lavishly illustrated, and of interest to the specialist anthropologist and non-specialist alike.

It recounts the discovery and scientific investigation of the bodies of six women and two children of Inuit culture buried in 1475. They were members of a small community at Qilakitsoq, a settlement on the western coast of Greenland, 450 km north of the Arctic circle. The finding of the mummies in October 1979 by two brothers out ptarmigan hunting is told in an absorbing account that one of them wrote to a friend. The professional investigation of the graves is also described in a personal way that involves the reader in the excitement of the event.

This is followed by a discussion on dating technique and the process whereby the bodies were preserved (mainly of interest to the amateur) and a most significant chapter is devoted to the scientific investigation of the mummies.

Routine physical anthropological examination was carried out, and extensive use made of clinical X-radiography.

The precise determination of adult ages by this method does somewhat stretch credibility, and for the specialist more explanation would have been of interest.

* But the reproduction of the X-rays is excellent, and the range of palaeopathological lesions exhibited is extensive, including a child with Down’s syndrome and Perthes disease.

* A most interesting skull radiograph is reproduced of a female mummy 11/8, which shows numerous erosive bone lesions, and it is suggested that these are metastatic carcinomatous deposits.

* Unfortunately the preservation of her soft tissues was poor, so the authors are unable to suggest a possible primary neoplasm in this case; breast carcinoma seems likely.

* Dental disease in the mummies is analysed and the chewing of sealskin is proposed to account for attrition.

* It was also found that all the bodies were infested with head lice and at least one had intestinal pinworm infestation.

Tissue typing was carried out and interesting proposals regarding family relationships of the mummified bodies are made.

There is much fascinating information in this book ranging from contemporary Inuit ideas on death and burial ritual, to tattooing, clothes, and living conditions in fifteenth-century western Greenland in general.

Have news or information related to this story? Email us marty@chan6news.com SWAT officers and firefighters arrived on the scene early this morning at 819 Mount Tabor, address of Dr. Receveur, to find bedlam breaking out in the office. As SWAT officers moved in at least two people were seen running from the office yelling repeatedly, “They’re on the loose! They’ve got Dr. Receveur!” After a few brief questions the two were taken to an undisclosed location for debriefing. All that sources would tell us was that the witnesses reported seeing Dr. Receveur running down the hall and locking himself on the inside of a room, apparently followed closely by…snapping dentures! We cannot get official confirmation that this was indeed the case, although a third witness who snuck out the back door in all of the confusion did seem to confirm the earlier report. “It was awful and so sudden!” she reported. “Dr. Receveur was putting mini-implants in a patient when the old dentures seemed to come to life and become terribly agitated. Suddenly they were snapping at Dr. Receveur, growling, and before he could react they had bitten him the calf!” At that point it is reported that Dr. Receveur ran down the hall screaming, “the dentures are coming, the dentures are coming!” and everyone started to flee the building. SWAT members still had the building surrounded as this edition went to print. One SWAT member was reported as saying, “We don’t know who to call. We’re going to have a FEMA

Prevent Cavities

Question by : What are some ways to prevent cavities without giving up sugar?
I went to my dentist appointment about two days ago and my dentist found two cavities. =( The thing is, I’ve had this kind of addiction to candy since I was a kid. I don’t eat candy everyday–but I have cravings now and then. Is there any way to prevent cavities next time around without giving up candy? Other than this, I pretty much eat healthy. Meaning more vegetables than meat. So what can I do?
